Leave No Child Behind
Children are the fabric of the future, and their development and welfare are vital to shaping tomorrow's society. The effects of hunger or food insecurity on children can be easily overlooked, still, the impact of malnutrition can have a drastic effect on their physical well-being and mental resilience.
That's why, here at Food from the Heart, we recognise the importance of providing children from underprivileged backgrounds with essential food support during their key developmental years through our School Goodie Bag programme. Partnering with schools from preschools to secondary levels, our School Goodie bag programme reaches out to underprivileged children under the Ministry of Education's financial assistance scheme. Each monthly School Goodie Bag consists of at least 21 nutritious food items, comprising of rice, cooking oil, canned food, milk, eggs, oats, etc. valued at $65 each.
You too can support our School Goodie Bag programme by donating to our "Leave No Child Behind" campaign. Every dollar you donate will be matched by Tote Board's ERF Dollar-to-Dollar matching, doubling your impact!
We believe every child, in every school, should experience the joy and power of food. Help us share hope and nourish kids' futures. Enrich our children with the sustenance they need to live their fullest lives.
