OUR Work / Bread Run
rescued bread,
renewed hope.
Every day in Singapore, perfectly good bread is thrown away. Through the Bread Run programme, our volunteers collect and share surplus bread with families, children, and seniors who need it most, turning what would be waste into nourishment and care.
our impact IN 2025

Who receives
Bread Run support?
The programme supports nearly 15,500 beneficiaries from more than 110 welfare homes. Many live on a monthly household income per capita below $800.
In 2025 alone, we rescued and redistributed 199,000kg worth of bread, reaching children, lower-income families, and the elderly.
How bread run works
Bread is sent to our distribution points: welfare homes and Self-Collection Centres under the Community Food Pack programme.
