We're Digitalising Food Pack Collection with QR Coded Beneficiary Cards and Mobile App
Food from the Heart distributes 9,000 food packs to needy households monthly. On top of its 5-man logistics team, the distributions are completed by working with other social service agencies, schools and individual volunteers. To better serve its beneficiaries and aid its partners, Food from the Heart has introduced beneficiary cards and an accompanying mobile app, SupplyAlly.
Similar to its past initiatives, such as Community Shop and Project Belanja!, this digitalised process helps the charity pick up on preferences and trends among its beneficiaries, and also helps relevant parties follow up with beneficiaries who have not collected their rations.
