Last week, Food from the Heart was presented the Merit Award by Minister Edwin Tong at the People's Association Community Spirit (PACS) Award 2024. This honour is in recognition of our contributions of the Queenstown division of Tanjong Pagar GRC, through our Community Shop @ Lengkok Bahru. Under this #GivingBetter initiative, we provide around 750 lower-income individuals and families with monthly food support, and better access to nutritious fresh produce. Thank you People's Association for the acknowledgement!
The PACS Award is given to exemplary partners who have assisted in building social capital and contributed to the community. It was truly an inspiring evening for us to be in the company of over 140 exceptional agencies to celebrate the kumpung spirit and our shared efforts to uplift and care for those in need amongst us. Bravo to all the other Award Recipients!
