As Singapore turns 59 in August, it is a time to celebrate our success and resilience as a nation. Through all the trials and tribulations, our spirit of unity and community has taken us from strength to strength. Build on the early years of 'kampong spirit', and rekindled during the pandemic, our strong community or the #SGUnited spirit is interwoven in the fabric of our society.
In the past few months, food donations coming in are slowing. However, close to 60,000 Singaporeans are still relying on our food support every month to reduce their finance burden.
Join us in helping lower-income families in Singapore, by giving them the consistent food security and reliable access to nutritious food. Help us reach our goal of raising 28,000 food items at our upcoming food donation drive at our Community Shop @ Boon Lay on Saturday, 17 August, 9am - 6pm.
Come down with your food donations on Saturday, 17 August, 9am - 6pm. If you can’t make it to our food drive, order from online groceries and arrange the delivery directly to our food drive event. Our team of staff and volunteers will be there to receive and record your donations. Every donation counts towards reaching our goal of 28,000 food items!
For this month only, double the impact of your cash contributions by supporting our Sharing Hope, Nourishing Lives campaign on Giving.sg - your donations will be matched! This means that a $40 sponsorship of a Community Food Pack for a family will IMPACT TWO FAMILIES INSTEAD OF ONE.
