Food from the Heart works with grassroot organisations and welfare homes to reach out to those who need our support. Our beneficiaries include low-income individuals and families who are residents of welfare homes, as well as those staying in the housing estates. Their per capita income typically falls below S$690.
Food from the Heart reaches out to less-privileged individuals and families through five food distribution programmes, distributing food packs, surplus bread and non-perishable food items. We also bring joy through the distribution of toys through Toy Buffet which happens once annually.
Food from the Heart does not receive any government funding, relying solely on the support and sponsorship from corporate companies and private donors to fund our programmes and activities. Food from the Heart is also not affiliated with any religious or political organisations.
